MADECOLD Consortium Meeting Held at the University of Stuttgart

The MADECOLD consortium held a hybrid project meeting at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, on 6–7 October 2026. The meeting brought together project partners to review progress, exchange technical updates, and discuss ongoing activities across the project’s work packages.

Reviewing Project Progress

During the two-day meeting, consortium partners presented updates on their respective work packages, highlighting progress to date, ongoing activities, and the next steps in the project. The presentations provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss technical developments, and strengthen coordination among the participating teams.

Inspecting the 20-Stage Vertical LINAC

A key highlight of the meeting was the inspection of the 20-stage vertical linear accelerator (LINAC) system currently under construction. The visit provided an opportunity for consortium members to observe the system’s ongoing assembly and discuss its technical development.

The LINAC represents an important part of the project’s technical work, and its continued development marks progress towards the project’s objectives.

Strengthening Collaboration

The meeting enabled partners to review achievements, discuss challenges, and align on upcoming activities. The hybrid format also supported participation and collaboration across the consortium.

MADECOLD thanks the University of Stuttgart for hosting the meeting and all consortium partners for their contributions and continued collaboration.

Further updates on the project’s progress and technical developments will be shared as the work advances.
